Police in North London have apprehended Kyle Clifford, 26, the suspect in a harrowing triple murder involving a crossbow attack that claimed the lives of Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25. The gruesome discovery was made at a residence in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, near Watford, on Tuesday evening.

Following an extensive search, Clifford was in the Enfield area on Wednesday afternoon. He was found with injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment, with no shots fired by law enforcement during his apprehension. Hertfordshire Police indicated that Clifford believed to be known to the victims, is the sole suspect in the case.

Hannah Hunt, sister of Louise and daughter of John, also died after being shot with a crossbow at the family’s £800,000 home.

Formal identification of the victims is pending, although BBC sources have confirmed the identity of John Hunt’s family as the victims. Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit emphasized the ongoing sensitivity of the situation for the victims’ relatives and urged respect for their privacy during this challenging period.

Detectives investigating a triple murder which occurred in Bushey, Hertfordshire, yesterday evening (Tuesday 9 July) are actively seeking a man who is wanted in connection with the incident. Police were called to a property in Ashlyn Close just before 7pm. Officers attended alongside the ambulance service and on arrival, found three women with serious injuries. Sadly, despite their best efforts, the women, who are believed to be related, died a short time later at the scene. Police have since been searching throughout the night for 26-year-old Kyle Clifford from the Enfield area who is wanted in connection with the incident.

In response to community concerns, additional local police officers have been deployed to the area, and an information portal has been set up to facilitate the submission of evidence that could aid the investigation into this tragic event.
