A man in his 30s has been charged in connection with an incident of animal cruelty that occurred in Killsallaghan, Co. Dublin, on June 26.
The man was arrested at the time of the incident, and following a directive from the Director of Public Prosecutions, he is now facing charges related to the case.
He is scheduled to appear before Balbriggan District Court on Tuesday morning.
Gardaí confirm that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
