Aldi Ireland has launched a major recruitment campaign to fill over 130 new positions in Dublin and hundreds of additional roles across counties, including Kildare, Mayo, Offaly, Westmeath and Waterford.
The recruitment push is part of Aldi’s €400 million nationwide expansion plan, which includes opening 30 new stores and creating 1,000 jobs over the next five years.
Store assistants and warehouse operatives will start at €14.80 per hour, a rate higher than Ireland’s current living wage. Aldi says the roles offer competitive pay, strong career progression and access to employee wellbeing support.

“We’re committed to investing in people and communities,” an Aldi spokesperson said. “This recruitment drive reflects our continued growth and the vital role our staff play in our success.”
In Dublin alone, Aldi is seeking to fill more than 130 vacancies. In Kildare, over 80 roles are available, while Meath will see around 40 job openings. Offaly is set to benefit from 20 new jobs across Tullamore and nearby areas, and Mayo will see 16 roles filled across six stores. Westmeath has 12 openings, while Waterford will see more than 30 positions made available.

The new jobs come with benefits such as access to Aldi’s Women in Leadership Programme, designed to increase diversity and support professional development.
