However, Maxwell contradicted his version of events and stated that she did not introduce them.
The information was made public by a US court and is linked to the 2015 defamation case brought against Maxwell by Virginia Giuffre, who accused Andrew of sexually abusing her as a teenager.
Maxwell claimed that Ms Giuffre’s supposed meetings with the Duke are a ’tissue of lies’ during an exchange with the alleged victim’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley in April 2016.
