The star of *The Kardashians* debuted the costume on Instagram on Thursday, showcasing a head-to-toe reptilian appearance designed by artist Alexis Stone, who recently turned heads at Balenciaga’s Paris runway show dressed as Jack Nicholson.

In a series of Instagram photos captioned, “🤍🐊 Albino Alligator by @thealexisstone,” Kardashian revealed the intricate details of the costume. The transformation featured prosthetics across her head and chest, each carefully painted with scale patterns. The stone used body paint to replicate the albino alligator’s colouring, adding green contacts to intensify the otherworldly effect. Kardashian’s hands were adorned with scales and faux claws, replacing her usual manicure.

While fans admired the Skims mogul’s daring transformation, reactions were mixed. Some praised her commitment to the look, with one fan calling it “the best costume of Halloween.” Another exclaimed, “Kimberly, you just shut down Halloween!” However, others made digs at the look, with one commenter writing, “This is her actual form,” and another adding, “The reptilian took off her costume for Halloween. How clever!” Others simply called the look “scary.”

Stone later shared on his Instagram that creating the elaborate look for Kardashian was a “mammoth task” that took two weeks to complete. He explained that his inspiration came from an alligator prop he had won at an auction several years ago, used in Natalie Portman’s 2018 film *Annihilation*. The prop was initially shipped from Los Angeles to England and was the foundation for Kardashian’s unusual Halloween look.

Meanwhile, Kardashian’s sisters also embraced the Halloween spirit with standout costumes. Kylie Jenner, 27, posted several costumes inspired by Jane Fonda’s role in ‘Barbarella’. Kendall Jenner and her friend Hailey Bieber channelled a nostalgic look, dressing up as Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie from ‘The Simple Life’.
