A 24-year-old woman has spent over $51,000 on multiple surgeries to look like a “WAG” — the wives and girlfriends of athletes.
Ravena Hanniely, who has undergone rhinoplasty, a boob job, and facial harmony surgery, embraces being mistaken for a pro athlete’s wife.
“The association comes from my look, shaped by surgeries and carefully planned styling,” the former Playboy model and influencer told NeedToKnow.
Hanniely, who takes pride in her appearance, says her cosmetic enhancements boost her emotional and physical well-being.
She shared a story where a waiter mistook her for the wife of a famous football striker. “I didn’t correct him,” she admitted.
Hanniely has also enjoyed perks like being invited to VIP areas at events and receiving hotel upgrades while traveling — all due to the assumption that she’s with a famous athlete. “People think I’m with a football player, and I get treated accordingly,” she said.
To maintain her “WAG” look, the influencer ensures she always has perfect makeup, long blonde hair with extensions, and tight, feminine outfits from designer stores. “I’ve always wanted to look this way, but I didn’t intend to be mistaken for a famous wife,” she explained.
Though her luxurious lifestyle results from her transformations, Hanniely says she did it for herself. “If my body contouring and mega hair make me look like a footballer’s wife, so be it,” she said.
As for her family, Hanniely’s new look has been accepted without issue. “They never had any problems with my sexy clothes or surgeries,” she added. “But some men are only interested in looks or status. I know there will always be criticism, but I wear what I like and feel better daily.”
