Successful OnlyFans creator Hayley Davies, 26, has hit back at critics claiming her job is “easy money,” insisting she works longer than the average office employee.
Davies, who left three jobs to pursue adult content creation full-time, argues that succeeding in the competitive industry requires relentless effort, far beyond just “taking nudes and posting them online.”
“An Insane Work Ethic” Required
Davies told news.com.au that her career switch didn’t lead to a more relaxed lifestyle.

Instead, she works around 50 hours weekly, managing content production, marketing, and financial tracking.
“This isn’t like an office job where you can sit at your computer, act busy, and attend pointless meetings,” she said. “I’m always creating, strategizing, and engaging with subscribers. To succeed here, you need an insane work ethic.”
Her claims have sparked debate online, with some dismissing her career as “easy money for lazy women.” Others questioned whether content creation qualifies as “real work.” But Davies, who has held multiple jobs since age 10—from babysitting to IT—refuses to let critics “gaslight” her about her dedication.
From Side Hustles to Six Figures
Before OnlyFans, Davies juggled corporate work, dancing, and personal training. She prides herself on being “career-driven” and financially independent, even saving $10,000 as a teenager for emergencies.

Now earning 10 times her previous salary, she focuses on smart investments, helping her mother pay off a mortgage, and planning for retirement. “I’ve never been in debt—only good debt, like a house, is acceptable,” she said.
The Reality of the Business
Davies treats her platform like a full-scale business, using spreadsheets to track sales and marketing ROI.

She admits early spending mistakes—“I got too ‘card happy'”—but now lives below her means while investing in stocks for future property goals.
“People assume this job is effortless,” she said. “But I’m proof that success here takes hustle, discipline, and sacrifice.”
