Trump Escapes Another Shooting Incident as Shots Fired Near Him Leaving Florida Golf Club
The Secret Service is investigating a shooting incident that occurred near Donald Trump as he was leaving Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed that Trump was unharmed and safe following the event.
Trump’s spokesman, Steven Cheung, stated on Sunday afternoon, “President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time.” The shooting involved two individuals who exchanged gunfire outside the golf course, with the bullets directed at each other and not at Trump, according to sources. The area where the shooting occurred is known for high crime rates.
This shooting comes nearly two months after a separate attack on July 13, when Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, injuring him in the ear.
This is a developing story.
