A tourist was bitten by a horse outside the Household Cavalry Museum in London, disregarding prominently displayed warning signs.
The plaque at the museum, which reads, “Beware, horses may kick or bite,” is placed near a military horse ridden by an officer of the King’s Guard. Despite this apparent caution, tourists frequently approach the horses, often resulting in minor nips as reminders to maintain a safe distance.
On Sunday, an incident captured on video showcased a particularly oblivious tourist. After witnessing another group member being nipped for getting too close, the woman approached the horse to pose for a photo. The horse turned and bit her arm, which was covered by a Pink Floyd t-shirt.
The woman yelped and quickly retreated to her group, who attempted to calm her and tend to the bite. She knelt on one knee, muttering to her companions while one dabbed her arm with what appeared to be a soothing solution.

Shortly after, the woman was cradled and fanned by her group, and a team of armed police officers checked on her condition. Remarkably, other tourists approached the horse within biting distance, with one even attempting to pet it.
The woman did not require hospital treatment, and the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of heeding warning signs.
