Sabrina Carpenter’s hit single “Espresso” enjoys a seventh non-consecutive week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.
This achievement places “Espresso” alongside Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” which also held the top spot for seven consecutive weeks earlier this year.
“Espresso” remains the most-streamed song in the country, while Carpenter dominates the Top 2 slots on the chart with “Please Please Please” at Number 2. She is now tied with Ed Sheeran for the most consecutive weeks, holding the Number 1 and Number 2 positions for five weeks.
Eminem’s former chart-topper “Houdini” climbs three spots to Number 4 following the release of “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace).” Two more tracks from the album, “Habits”, featuring White Gold and “Renaissance,” are in the Top 20 at Numbers 11 and 13, respectively, bringing Eminem’s total of Top 40 singles to 49.
Despite England’s defeat in the Euros 2024 final against Spain, David Baddiel, Frank Skinner, and The Lightning Seeds see their football anthem “Three Lions” rise to Number 8. Additionally, Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 classic “Dancing In The Dark” re-enters the UK Top 40 at Number 36, its first appearance in 39 years, driven by England fans celebrating footballer Phil Foden.
Ice Spice and Central Cee’s collaboration “Did It First” debuts at Number 15, marking Ice Spice’s third UK Top 40 hit and Central Cee’s 26th.
Bl3ss, CamrinWatsin & bbyclose’s “Kisses” climbs two spots to Number 24, and Adam Port, Stryv, and KeineMusik’s “Move” enters the Top 40 for the first time, jumping seven places to Number 39.
