President Biden said, “Only God can convince me to quit the presidential race
US President Joe Biden has reaffirmed his commitment to run for re-election despite facing criticism and speculation about his candidacy following a contentious debate performance against former President Donald Trump.
In an interview with ABC News on Friday, Biden addressed concerns over his candidacy, stating unequivocally that only divine intervention would prompt him to reconsider his decision.
“I mean, if the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe, get out the race,’ I would get outta the race. The Lord Almighty’s not coming down,” Biden asserted, brushing off hypothetical scenarios questioning his resolve.
Responding to critiques about his age and fitness for office, Biden pointed to his accomplishments during his tenure, including job creation and student debt relief initiatives.
“I see all these stories that say I am too old… Was I too old to create 15 million jobs? Was I too old to erase student debt for five million Americans? Do you think I’m too old to beat Donald Trump?” Biden challenged, emphasizing his confidence in his capabilities.
Despite growing concerns, the White House has confirmed Biden’s determination to continue his campaign, highlighting his belief in his qualifications and vision for the country’s future.
As the election season progresses, Biden’s steadfast commitment underscores his readiness to seek a second term in office.
