Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has responded to a social media user who criticized her for showcasing her physique in a recent workout video.
The 32-year-old, known for her strong online presence, responded on Wednesday after the critic sarcastically called her actions “real classy.”
The controversy began when Spiranac shared a video on Tuesday of herself organizing her new golf bag. The clip, which featured her in a pair of workout shorts, caught the attention of a detractor who took issue with how she presented herself.

“Had to start that second shot with your ass on the camera. Real classy, Paige,” the user commented on X.
Spiranac did not hesitate to respond, expressing pride in her fitness journey and her progress. “I went from having my back connect to my thighs to this,” she wrote.
“It’s not the most enormous peach now, but I’ve been working harder than ever in the gym and on my diet.

Heck yeah, I’m going to show it off! I’m proud of my body and the hard work I have done to achieve my fitness goals.”
Another user attempted to dismiss the criticism, telling Spiranac to ignore online negativity, to which she playfully replied, “It was a great opportunity to show off my booty again.”
Spiranac has frequently addressed public scrutiny regarding her appearance. She previously spoke about experiencing imposter syndrome and being subjected to intense body shaming, particularly after throwing out the first pitch at a Yankees vs. Brewers game in Milwaukee in September 2022.

Despite the criticism, the former professional golfer has thrived in the spotlight. In 2022, she was featured on Maxim’s prestigious “Hot 100” cover. She was also celebrated as a returning “legend” in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 60th-anniversary edition last May.
With nearly 7 million followers on Instagram, TikTok, and X, Spiranac remains one of the most prominent figures in golf and social media. She uses her platform to advocate for body positivity and confidence.
