Michael Ilesanmi, ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star, Found Safe After Reported Missing, Angela Deem Relieved
After Angela Deem expressed concern about her husband Michael Ilesanmi’s whereabouts earlier this week, the ’90 Day Fiancé’ star was safe and sound.
In a YouTube video shared by blogger John Yates, Deem and Yates confirmed the good news on Monday, with Deem expressing gratitude, saying, “Thank God!”
Yates explained that Deem received a call from the police confirming Ilesanmi’s safety. They verified his identity using passport photos he managed to take from a burner phone. According to Yates, Ilesanmi expressed fear for his safety and preferred not to disclose his location to Deem.
Yates also highlighted that in the two months since Ilesanmi’s arrival in the United States, he and Deem had travelled extensively across California, New York, and Florida, indicating no signs of confinement.
Deem, however, admitted to feeling frustrated and upset upon learning that her husband had been hiding from her, initially fearing he was injured.
Earlier, during a live video, Deem had tearfully revealed that Ilesanmi had gone missing in Georgia after arriving from Nigeria in December 2023. She had been unsuccessful despite her efforts to reach out to his family in West Africa and offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to his return.
On Instagram, Deem urged her followers to contact her directly as she waited at home for updates.
The couple, who met online in 2018 during Season 2 of ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days,’ married in Nigeria two years later. Their relationship has faced various challenges over the years.
