Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg visited Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday, following months of public praise for President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump adviser Stephen Miller confirmed the visit, which took place at Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida, club, during an interview on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle.

Miller highlighted Zuckerberg’s apparent alignment with Trump’s agenda: “Mark Zuckerberg has been very clear about his desire to support and participate in the reform movement Donald Trump is leading. Like many business leaders, he recognises Trump as an agent of change and prosperity.”

Zuckerberg’s admiration for Trump was evident in July when he publicly praised the president-elect’s resilience after surviving an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. During an interview with Bloomberg, Zuckerberg called Trump’s fist-pumping reaction to the attack “one of the most badass things I’ve ever seen in my life,” adding, “It’s hard not to feel emotional about that spirit and fight.”

The Mar-a-Lago meeting is not Zuckerberg’s first notable interaction with Trump. In August, the Meta CEO reportedly apologised to Trump after Facebook erroneously labelled a viral photo of the Republican leader. In an interview with FOX Business, Trump revealed that Zuckerberg called him twice, commending his bravery and even announcing he wouldn’t support a Democrat in the next election.

Zuckerberg’s presence at Mar-a-Lago underscores a growing rapport between the tech mogul and the president-elect, signalling potential collaboration in Trump’s second term.
