Melania Trump’s lavish Christian Dior gown from her 2005 wedding to former President Donald Trump has surfaced on eBay. It is listed for $45,000 (or best offer) with free shipping.
The gown, designed by John Galliano, was reportedly purchased by Melania for $100,000 and famously featured in her February 2005 Vogue cover after the couple’s extravagant Palm Beach wedding.

Writer Liana Satenstein informed her ‘Neverworns’ Substack readers about the listing on Tuesday, crediting her friend Patricia Torvalds for discovering the dress while browsing for ’80s Dior dresses.

The seller claims to have bought the gown directly from Melania, with whom she reportedly shared a mutual friend, for her 2010 wedding for $70,000. The dress has since undergone slight modifications, including:
- A new layer of satin on the bottom
- Added embroidery pieces on the top
- Additional fabric on the back
- Newly added straps
Melania’s original gown was crafted from 300 feet of white duchesse satin, embroidered with crystal beading in a process that reportedly took 550 hours. The ensemble, which also featured a 16-foot-long veil, weighed an astonishing 60 pounds.

The former model selected the extravagant design in Paris with the guidance of Anna Wintour.
In January, Donald Trump marked their 20th wedding anniversary by posting a nostalgic photo of Melania in the iconic gown on Instagram.

The high-profile wedding guest list included Bill and Hillary Clinton, Katie Couric, and Shaquille O’Neal.

Melania and Donald began dating in 1998, became engaged in April 2004, and welcomed their son Barron, now 19, in March 2006. While the marriage was Melania’s first, Donald Trump was previously married to Ivana Trump and Marla Maples.
