The former first lady said her husband is not Hitler calling those attacks terrible
New York, Oct. 31 — Former first lady Melania Trump denounced recent attacks on her husband, former President Donald Trump, in which he has been compared to Adolf Hitler.

In a Tuesday interview with ‘Fox & Friends’, Melania described the rhetoric as “terrible” and defended her husband’s intentions for the nation.

“He’s not Hitler,” she stated during the sit-down. “All of his supporters, they’re standing behind him because they want to see [the] country successful — and we see what kind of support he has.”

This defence comes after Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz was criticised for likening Trump’s Sunday rally at Madison Square Garden to a notorious pro-Nazi rally held in the same venue’s predecessor 85 years ago.

“Donald Trump’s got this big rally going at Madison Square Garden,” Walz remarked during a campaign stop in Henderson, Nevada. “There’s a direct parallel to a big rally in the 1930s at Madison Square Garden.”

The Trump campaign and Republican leaders quickly condemned Walz’s comments, calling the comparison “shameful” and denouncing it as an inappropriate attack.

Melania defended her husband by praising his commitment to America, saying, “He loves his country, and he wants to make it successful … for all of the people. You know, he loves people, and he wants to make this country great again.”

The former first lady’s comments highlight growing tensions as campaign rhetoric intensifies. Republican allies and supporters reiterate Trump’s focus on national success and unity amid controversial comparisons.
