New reports suggest that Smile singer Lily Allen, 39, created a profile on the celebrity dating app Raya not to find romance but to investigate her husband, Stranger Things star David Harbour, 49, after allegedly discovering his secret account.
The couple, who tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding officiated by an Elvis impersonator in 2020, faced split rumors earlier this year but dismissed them.
However, Lily was spotted on Raya in December, with sources now claiming she was in “agony” after learning Harbour had been active on the app for a month.
An insider told the Mail on Sunday that Lily’s profile was set to search for women, allowing her to cross-reference them with those Harbour follows on Instagram to find potential matches.
“She was engaging in her Wagatha activities, the source claimed, referencing the infamous “Wagatha Christie” trial between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy.
The source added:
“Lily only rejoined Raya to figure out if David was seeing someone.
She has never looked at anyone else since meeting him. She’s devastated.
He broke up with her a month ago and was supposed to be on holiday with her in Kenya over Christmas.”
Neither Allen nor Harbour has publicly confirmed the rumored split. However, it appears they spent Christmas and New Year’s apart, with Lily hinting at a “solo” holiday on her podcast.
Harbour, known for his role as Jim Hopper in Stranger Things, reportedly listed himself as a “closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV” on his Raya profile.
His location was set to “Visiting New York from Atlanta,” where he’s been filming the final season of the Netflix series.
Sources claim Lily suspected Harbour’s interest in meeting other women while away for work and only learned of his activity at the end of summer.
The couple initially met on Raya, with Lily sharing how she didn’t recognise Harbour’s profile picture of him dressed as Hopper.
“I thought he was just a sexy policeman from a reality TV show,” she joked during a 2023 appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show.
