Leni Klum, 20, is brushing off the negativity that followed her and her mother, Heidi Klum, 51, posing together in lingerie for Intimissimi ads.

The duo, who sparked controversy with their Christmas-themed photoshoot and other campaigns, discussed the backlash in an interview for Tuesday’s Glamour Germany’s cover story.

Leni reflected on how she navigates criticism, emphasizing that no matter what you do, someone will constantly be disapproving. “You simply have no control over it, and you can’t focus too much on the negative,” she shared.

Spending a lot of time on social media, Leni acknowledged the temptation to get caught up in the comments but reassured that the positive reactions outweigh the trolls.

She said that many of the comments are in German, which helps her avoid getting too affected by them.

In their most recent lingerie campaign, Heidi and Leni wore bra and panty sets while sharing joyful moments and filming a video in which they admired the fabric of each other’s lace sets.

Intimissimi’s brand celebrated the collaboration with the tagline, “Lace that flatters, support that empowers – From generation to generation, #intimissimi celebrates every facet of femininity.”
Despite the love for the campaign, it wasn’t without controversy. Some viewers criticized the mother-daughter duo filming each other in lingerie.

Comments on their respective Instagram accounts expressed discomfort, with one person asking, “What kind of advert is this???” and another writing, “Quite strange to do this with your mum.”

Nevertheless, the Klum family continues to thrive in the modeling industry. Heidi’s 80-year-old mom, Erna Klum, joined them for a more covered-up Intimissimi campaign, and Heidi’s son Henry made his modeling debut on the runway earlier this year.
