Kim Kardashian, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner Lead Glamour at Star-Studded Academy Museum Gala
Kim Kardashian was the centre of attention as she arrived at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, flanked by her sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars made a stunning entrance at the event, where they mingled with some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The Gala, now in its fourth year, is a significant fundraiser for the Academy Museum.
Kim, 43, led the way in a striking white ensemble, wearing a busty corset top and tiny matching shorts. She added a flowing white jacket with ruched sleeves, elevating her stylish look. The SKIMS founder completed her outfit with metallic heels and accessorised with a silver necklace and drop earrings. Her classic brunette waves framed her face, adding to the glamorous appeal.
Kendall Jenner, 28, exuded sophistication in a figure-hugging black halterneck gown that featured cut-out panels, adding a sexy edge to her look. She paired the dress with a silver brooch, and her new golden blonde locks were soft curls. The supermodel, known for her work with Victoria’s Secret, posed solo for a few pictures before reuniting with her younger sister, Kylie, on the red carpet.
Kylie Jenner, 27, kept her look understated yet impactful with natural waves and minimal makeup. Her presence alongside her sisters added to the family’s commanding presence at the event.
Many other famous faces graced the red carpet, making their mark with stunning fashion choices. Pamela Anderson, 57, continued her makeup-free streak, opting for a floor-length black gown and flashing a smile to fans. *Scandal* star Kerry Washington, meanwhile, wowed in a white dress with a black floral print and a dramatic high-low hemline.
American singer Andra Day, 39, turned heads in a plunging gold sequin wrap dress with a thigh-high split, accessorised with a matching headpiece. The singer-songwriter paired the bold look with towering gold heels.
‘Home Alone’ star Macaulay Culkin, 44, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo and glasses, accompanied by his partner Brenda Strong, 36, who wore a striking asymmetric gold dress with a train. The couple shared lighthearted moments, laughing together throughout the evening.
British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 37, opted for a flesh-toned halter neck gown with a pendant necklace. In contrast, her fellow UK model Cara Delevingne chose a sleek black halterneck outfit, completing the look with a stylish up-do. Pop star Selena Gomez, 32, turned up the drama in a dark blue gown with a black bra panel, while ‘Wicked’ actress Cynthia Erivo stunned in a strapless green dress with a voluminous hemline, nodding to her role in the upcoming film.
The 2024 Academy Museum Gala honoured actor Paul Mescal, actress and singer Rita Moreno, and director Quentin Tarantino for their significant contributions to cinema. The event, which marked the Academy Museum’s third anniversary, celebrated the impact of these influential artists.
Academy Museum Director and President Amy Homma spoke about the importance of the event, stating, “The Academy Museum Gala celebrates the power, global impact, and indelible importance of cinema.
I am thrilled we can gather for a fourth year and honour these three amazing artists—Rita Moreno, Quentin Tarantino, and Paul Mescal—whose ground-breaking achievements, filmmaking influence, and demonstrated versatility will continue to inspire generations of artists and filmmakers.”
