London – Katie Price is once again under fire over her treatment of animals after posting a video showing her dog hanging out of a car window, prompting strong criticism from an animal welfare charity.
The former glamour model, 46, shared the footage via Snapchat, where she can be seen holding a small dog on her lap as it leans halfway out of a fully open window. In the clip, Price is visibly filming on her phone using the car’s wing mirror.

Animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) condemned the video, calling it a “potential tragedy in the making” and accusing Price of setting a dangerous example.
“While it’s wonderful for dogs to enjoy the great outdoors, it can be damned dangerous to have the car window lowered enough for them to jump or fall out,” a PETA spokesperson told The Sun.
“A sudden stop, sharp turn or distraction can quickly turn a fun trip into a tragedy.”

The incident is the latest in a string of controversies involving Price and her pets. Over the years, she has faced widespread public criticism after multiple animals in her care — including dogs, cats, a horse, and even a chameleon — died in various tragic circumstances.
PETA previously offered Price £5,000 to legally commit to never owning pets again, citing the string of fatalities.
These included German Shepherds Blade and Queenie, who were both hit by cars, and Sparkle, who also died on the road in 2020. In 2017, one of her horses was killed after escaping its field and being struck by a vehicle on the A24.
Price’s daughter Princess’s puppy, Rolo, tragically died after reportedly becoming trapped in an electric armchair. Rolo had allegedly been given CBD oil to treat anxiety. Her son Junior’s pet chameleon, Marvin, also died shortly after he moved out of Price’s home. Reports cited improper heating in the tank and emotional distress as possible causes.
The reality TV star, best known for her role in Mucky Mansion, has continued to acquire pets despite the repeated backlash. She was seen walking her new Cocker Spaniel, Rookie, in March.
In November, she reportedly spent £2,000 on two additional hairless cats, adding to her already large collection, which includes Dobby, Hagrid, and Daisy — a Sphynx cat she purchased in September.
In the past, Price tried to sell some of her pets due to compatibility issues. Dobby and Hagrid, for instance, were reportedly rehomed in 2017 after failing to get along with her dogs.
Her spokesperson has previously criticised PETA for taking their complaints to the media instead of addressing the matter with Price directly.

“Katie has asked the charity many times to have a conversation with her directly, but instead they continue to play the narrative out in the media,” her rep said.
According to reports, Price gave away a puppy named Tank following public outrage, which came shortly after the death of Blade.
In another case, an Alsatian named Bear was rehomed after just six months, following a series of close calls, including an escape onto a dual carriageway.
Further scrutiny emerged when Price was revealed to be a part-owner of a racing greyhound named Barbie Bullet, alongside a friend and two others.

The greyhound races in Hove, East Sussex — just a short distance from her home. While some raised concerns, a source insisted that the dog receives proper care and that the venture is more for enjoyment than profit.
“She just wants to get a bit of fun and joy out of her investment,” the source said, dismissing fears about the animal’s well-being.
Despite the backlash, Price continues to share aspects of her life with pets on social media, a habit critics say contributes to the ongoing controversy over her treatment of animals.
