Katie Price has made a surprising revelation, disclosing that she has not spoken to her ex-husband Peter Andre since their high-profile split 16 years ago.
The former glamour model, 45, shared the details during a candid interview on Paul Brunson’s podcast We Need to Talk.
Price and Andre, 52, first met in 2004 while filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and married a year later. The pair share two children — Junior, 19, and Princess, 17 — but despite co-parenting, Price said they’ve never had a direct conversation since their divorce.
Reflecting on their separation, Katie said, “We broke up because he thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider, and I’ve never slept with him. He was married, and I just kept my horse there.”
She recalled the breakdown of their relationship, explaining how Andre often threatened to end the marriage.
“It got to a point where I said, ‘Well, divorce me.’ I remember the day clearly — I flew to the Maldives with the kids. That same day, it was all over Sky News. It wasn’t mutual at all.”

Katie said she even released a statement at the time insisting she didn’t want to split, but it was Peter who had initiated the separation. “Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it,” she added.
Paul Brunson expressed shock that the pair never communicated directly, even during years of co-parenting. Katie confirmed, “It was all through lawyers. We probably would’ve sorted it out if we’d just spoken, but we were kept apart.”
When asked if she’d be willing to finally sit down with Andre — possibly on the podcast — Katie said she would.
Peter Andre has since remarried and now shares three children — Amelia, 11, Theo, 9, and Arabella, 13 months — with his wife, Emily MacDonagh.
Katie, meanwhile, has gone on to remarry twice: to Alex Reid from 2010 to 2011, and Kieran Hayler from 2013 to 2021. She is now in a relationship with Married at First Sight UK star JJ Slater, whom she described as “the kindest, most genuine, easygoing, chilled person.”
However, when Brunson asked whether her current relationship made her feel happier and free — his two markers of a healthy partnership — Katie admitted, “No. But it’s not a reflection on him — maybe that’s what I need to change for myself.”
The interview has sparked fresh interest in the long-running saga between the former celebrity couple and offered new insight into the emotional toll of unresolved issues post-divorce.
