Musk Referenced as Potential Visitor to Epstein’s Island
Elon Musk’s name has appeared in newly released documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein, raising fresh questions about the billionaire’s links to the disgraced financier.
The files, published by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, include what appears to be Epstein’s daily schedule from 6 December 2014.
On that entry, a note reads: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)” — a reference to Epstein’s private island, Little St James.
The date came six years after Epstein was first listed as a convicted sex offender.
Musk’s Previous Claims About Trump
Earlier this year, Musk alleged that Donald Trump’s name appeared in Epstein-related files, accusing US authorities of concealing information.
He provided no evidence for the claim and later deleted the posts he had made on his social media platform, X.
Sky News has approached Musk for comment regarding his inclusion in the newly released files.
Prince Andrew Named on Epstein Jet Flight
The Duke of York is also listed as a passenger on one of Epstein’s private jet flights, according to the documents.
Records show the duke travelled from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Palm Beach, Florida, on 12 May 2000.
He was named alongside Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell — who is now a convicted sex trafficker — and two redacted individuals.
Court References to Duke’s Travel
Details of Prince Andrew’s travel on Epstein’s jet were previously raised in court during Maxwell’s trial.
One of Maxwell’s accusers, who was just 14 at the time, recalled being on a flight with the duke.
Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and has maintained his innocence throughout the scandal.
Other High-Profile Names in Files
The records also show Epstein was in contact with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, PayPal founder Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon, who later became Donald Trump’s chief strategist.
Victims’ names remain redacted, with the committee confirming more files will be published once those redactions are complete.
Duchess of York Email to Epstein
The disclosures come just days after an email from Sarah, Duchess of York, to Epstein was made public.
In the message, the duchess apologised for disowning him in the media, describing the financier as a “supreme friend.”
Her spokesperson said the letter was written only because Epstein had threatened to sue her for defamation.
The fallout has been swift, with several charities dropping the duchess as a patron in recent weeks.
Epstein’s Death and Political Fallout
Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges, with his death officially ruled a suicide.
