British Tourist Dies from Head Injury at Majorca Golf Course
A 61-year-old British tourist has tragically died from a head injury at the famous Son Muntaner Golf Course in Majorca.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was found in a severe condition while playing the course. Despite the immediate attention from paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, exploring the possibility that he may have suffered an accidental fall or been struck in the head by a golf ball.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for the weekend to determine the exact cause of death.
Local reports indicate that the man disappeared while playing with friends and pursuing a stray golf ball. Concerned when he did not return, his friends began searching for him and discovered him unconscious on the ground.
Emergency services were alerted around 5:45 PM local time on Friday. Upon their arrival, they found the man in cardiac arrest. Resuscitation efforts continued for approximately half an hour but ultimately proved unsuccessful.
The investigation has been assigned to the local National Police Homicide Unit, tasked with uncovering the details of the incident. So far, the police have not officially commented on the ongoing investigation.
