Mel B officially celebrated her 50th birthday over the weekend with a nostalgic, Spice Girls-inspired party in Leeds, joined by her former bandmates Mel C and Emma Bunton.
The celebration embraced the singer’s Scary Spice persona, with all guests encouraged to wear leopard print in homage to her signature style from the 90s and early 2000s.

Videos posted online captured the energy of the evening, including footage of Mel B dancing on the floor in a striking, shoulder-padded minidress to the Spice Girls’ anthem “Spice Up Your Life”.

While fans were delighted to see the trio of Mel B, Mel C, and Emma reunited, the absence of Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell-Horner drew significant attention and speculation online.

“Friendship never ends, love seeing the Mel’s & Emma together… such a shame the other two,” one fan posted on Instagram, while others echoed the sentiment, asking about Geri and Victoria’s whereabouts.
According to reports in The Sun, Victoria had a prior work commitment and was unable to attend. The celebration also coincided with the birthday of Mel B’s fiancé, making it a joint family-focused affair.

The absence of the full band is notable as rumours continue to swirl about a Spice Girls 30th anniversary tour in 2026, reportedly inspired by the Abba Voyage digital avatar performances.
Despite her absence, Victoria has reportedly given the green light to a digital tour concept, following her decision to skip the group’s 2019 reunion tour.

The Spice Girls enjoyed enormous success between 1996 and 2000, earning nine UK number-one singles, including six in a row. Geri Halliwell-Horner left the group in 1998, and the full quintet last performed together at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

In March, Geri hinted at a possible reunion, telling The Sunday Times: “There will be something. We love each other. I love them, I care about them, and we want the best for each other.”

She added,d: “We shared something so monumental. We’ve always believed in each other, had trust in each other, which is beautiful.”
Geri also said that any plans would ideally involve all five members: “My hope is we come back together as a collective. It’s more respectful to come as one, so we’ll come as one.”
She confirmed that the five bandmates remain in touch via a WhatsApp group chat.
Though not all members were present at Mel B’s milestone celebration, the spirit of the Spice Girls was front and centre—and fans remain hopeful for a full-scale reunion shortly.
