WWE Fans Heartbroken as Popular Star Departs After 8 Years to Pursue Next Chapter

Kayla, the beloved 33-year-old broadcaster, has announced her departure from WWE after nearly eight years of captivating audiences as a panellist, host, and interviewer. Since joining the company in October 2016, she has become a firm favourite, engaging with the biggest superstars.

In an emotional announcement, Kayla confirmed that she will officially sign off after next week’s show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. She thanked WWE for allowing her to be a trusted voice on television, thanking WWE bosses Nick Khan and Paul’ Triple H’ Levesque for warmly welcoming her as an ‘outsider’.

Fans and performers alike have expressed their sadness over her departure. Isla Dawn, Women’s Tag Team Champion, shared her emotions with crying emojis, while fans on social media conveyed their support and admiration for Kayla’s contributions to WWE.

Kayla began her journey as a ring announcer in NXT and went on to host Hall of Fame ceremonies, Kickoff shows, and over 200 episodes of The Bump, a show she helped create. Her engaging interviews and memorable exchanges, particularly with stars like Paul Heyman, have left an indelible mark on WWE programming.
