Vogue entertainment director Sergio Kletnoy has apologised for his remarks during Nicki Minaj’s Instagram Live session amidst the ongoing feud between Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.
comment.
Kletnoy expressed his love and support for various artists, particularly female artists, including Nicki and Megan, on social media on Saturday. He clarified that his comments during the live session were misconstrued and not intended to mock or offend anyone.
Despite contacting Vogue representatives for comment, there has been no response.
During Minaj’s livestream, Kletnoy, responsible for booking celebrities for interviews and photoshoots, commented on Megan’s foot, prompting Minaj to refer to her as a “bullet fragment foot b—h” about Megan’s 2020 shooting incident involving rapper Tory Lanez.
The feud escalated after the release of Minaj’s latest track, “Hiss,” which contains controversial lyrics seemingly aimed at Megan and her involvement with Megan’s Law, a US law concerning registered sex offenders. This sparked speculation among Minaj’s fans regarding the target of the lyrics, with some linking it to Megan’s husband, Kenneth Petty, and others to Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj.
In a recent interview on “The Breakfast Club,” Megan responded cryptically to questions about the song’s target, stating, “A hit dog will holler,” and leaving interpretation open to the listeners.
This lyrical exchange adds to the ongoing tension between Minaj and Megan, despite their previous collaboration on the 2019 song “Hot Girl Summer.”
Additionally, the feud was fueled by past controversies, including Minaj’s claim on her show “Queen Radio” in 2022 that someone suggested she abort her baby for an alcoholic drink, which Megan denied being involved in. In Minaj’s 2023 track “Red Ruby Da Sleaze,” she seemingly references Stallion, further intensifying the feud.
