Video clips of Democrats and legacy media journalists dismissing The New York Post’s revelations on Hunter Biden’s foreign influence-peddling as “Russian disinformation” have resurfaced, gaining viral traction after the FBI confirmed the authenticity of the first son’s laptop during his Delaware criminal trial.
In the trial, FBI Special Agent Erika Jensen affirmed the legitimacy of the laptop, which contains emails implicating Hunter Biden in his father’s foreign business deals. These revelations directly contradict the earlier denials made by network anchors, contributors, ex-US intelligence officials, and Democratic figures, including then-candidate Joe Biden himself.
Hunter Biden is currently facing felony charges related to his alleged false statements on a federal form regarding his crack cocaine use to purchase a firearm in 2018. The resurgence of the video clips, initially posted by user @KanekoatheGreat, has garnered over 28 million views within 24 hours.

When The New York Post initially broke the story about the laptop on October 14, 2020, social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter suppressed its online reach. However, subsequent independent confirmations from outlets such as The New York Times and The Washington Post validated the laptop’s authenticity.
Former CIA Acting Director Michael Morell, along with 50 other former intelligence officials, signed a letter asserting that the emails on the laptop bore “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” This letter was organized to support Vice President Biden’s presidential campaign, with Morell admitting that a communication from then-senior Biden campaign official Antony Blinken triggered it.
During the final presidential debate, Biden cited this letter to dismiss accusations about his son’s foreign business dealings. Similarly, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi and Rep. Adam Schiff, among others, rejected the laptop’s credibility, with Schiff labelling it as “Kremlin propaganda.”
Former Obama-era CIA and Pentagon chief of staff Jeremy Bash also echoed these sentiments, characterizing the laptop emails as “Russian intelligence” and part of a “disinformation campaign.” However, subsequent investigations have revealed Hunter Biden’s iCloud data, corroborating the laptop’s contents.
Hunter Biden’s trial in Delaware, where he has pleaded not guilty to all charges, is expected to conclude by the end of next week.
