Vera Wang, the 74-year-old fashion designer, celebrated the New Year’s Eve in style with her family. She shared photos on Instagram of her festive look, which included a bikini top and an evening gown.
She posed in the photos with her 30-year-old daughter, Josephine Becker, wearing a black gown. Wang looked stunning in her own Vera Wang Haute creation, a black halter-necked dress with enormous cutouts featuring just a thin strip of fabric extending down the front of the design.
She paired the gown with a crystal-covered black bikini top, which showcased her trim figure. Wang accessorized her outfit with an enormous black bow on top of her head resembling Minnie’s ears.
Wang held a lit sparkler as she posed with her daughter in front of an elaborately set dinner table decorated with teal, gold and silver balloons. She also shared several other posts from their party, including a solo shot of herself in the slinky black cutout dress. She captioned the photo, “Celebrating the New Year…Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!! 🥂🥂🥂.”

In another snapshot, which Wang captioned, “The best part of the night ….. 🥂🍾 Well, the 💥🧨💥 were pretty awesome too !!” she stood in front of a spread featuring a peacock-shaped arrangement of cupcakes and a New Year’s cake with a sparkler on top. Wang showed off her colourful dessert spread in another photo.
Wang coordinated with her kids in recent days, wearing a shimmering teal dress that matched with the styles Josephine and her older sister, Cecilia Becker, 33, modelled in a series of Christmas photos.
The bridal industry legend has many sassy outfits, from hot pants and a cutout top at the 2022 CFDA Awards to a viral sports bra and shorts moment in 2020. Wang has previously revealed her secret to looking fabulous at 74, which includes work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, and not much sun.
