A New York City police officer, previously suspended for allegedly interfering in a drug investigation involving her boyfriend, has been dismissed from the force, M10news can confirm.
Alisa Bajraktarevic, 34, was officially fired on 2 May by Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, according to internal NYPD personnel orders seen by The New York Post.

The former Robbery Squad officer had previously faced a 30-day suspension in 2023 after allegedly trying to prevent officers from searching the vehicle of her then-boyfriend, Kelvin Hernandez, in the Bronx. The incident occurred during a stop where officers, unaware initially of Bajraktarevic’s identity, were conducting a narcotics probe.

“She identified herself at the scene — that’s when they realised who she was,” a police source told the Post at the time, adding that Hernandez had already been under investigation.
Hernandez, 33, was charged with resisting arrest. Bajraktarevic insisted he wasn’t involved in drug dealing, but both were said to have protested the police stop. He now has his ongoing lawsuit against the NYPD.

Bajraktarevic’s dismissal also follows an ongoing lawsuit she filed against the department over a topless photo she claims was shared without her consent among officers.

In her case filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, she accuses Lieutenant Mark Rivera — a former romantic partner — of distributing the private image in a group chat, which she alleges then spread across the department.

The photo, originally sent to Rivera during a brief dating period, reportedly circulated widely, significantly affecting her career, according to court filings.
Images posted by Bajraktarevic on Instagram and Reddit also drew attention, showing the officer in provocative poses, including one of her lying in a thong bikini in Cancun, Mexico, another of her in a gym, and a selfie focusing on her figure with the caption, “Thick police officer.”

Having served with the NYPD for 12 years, Bajraktarevic is now seeking unspecified damages from the city, Rivera, and another supervisor she claims sexually harassed her in 2022.
Her legal team has branded the dismissal as “retaliatory.”
“There is no doubt that our client’s internal complaints of sexual harassment, the unlawful dissemination of a naked photograph of her, and her lawsuit against the NYPD were the true motivating factors behind her termination,” said John Scola, her lawyer.

“We are confident that once this matter is adjudicated, the retaliatory nature of her discharge will be fully exposed,” he added.
The NYPD has confirmed Bajraktarevic’s dismissal but declined to comment further on the matter.
