UK Prison Officer who was filmed Engaging in Illicit Act with Inmate, Identified as ‘Married Swinger’
A female prison officer at HMP Wandsworth, alleged to have engaged in illicit activity with an inmate on camera, is claimed to be a married swinger.
Linda De Sousa Abreu, 29, identified as a former prison officer, has been charged with misconduct in public office by the Metropolitan Police.
The allegations surfaced after video footage allegedly showed Abreu engaging in sexual acts with an inmate within the confines of the Category B jail in southwest London.
The scandalous footage, reportedly filmed by another prisoner using illicitly-held phones, captures Abreu in uniform performing an illicit act on an unidentified inmate. Subsequent scenes in the video depict her allegedly having intercourse with the prisoner while a cellmate films the encounter.
The widely circulated video also captures moments where Abreu’s discarded radio can be heard crackling with messages from her colleagues, seemingly unaware of the illicit activities in the cell.
According to reports from The Sun, the inmate filming the encounter jests, “This is how we live at Wandsworth,” suggesting a casual attitude towards such behaviour within the prison.
The scandal has sparked a rigorous investigation by authorities, leading to Abreu’s arrest shortly after the video came to light. She has since reportedly resigned from her position as a prison officer.
Adding to the controversy, it has been alleged that Abreu maintains an explicit OnlyFans account, further complicating the fallout from the scandal.
In response to inquiries, Abreu’s sister disclosed to the Mail that Abreu is involved in the swinger lifestyle and had only recently revealed her employment with the prison service earlier this year. The sister expressed dismay over the situation, urging Abreu not to mix her personal life with professional responsibilities.
The Metropolitan Police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations and the potential breaches of prison security and conduct standards at HMP Wandsworth.
This scandal has raised significant concerns about security protocols within the prison system and the behaviour of personnel entrusted with inmate care and supervision. Authorities continue to assess the broader implications while the investigation unfolds.
