A legal spokesperson for former President Donald Trump and a senior adviser to his re-election campaign, Alina Habba, made bold accusations against Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday.
Habba alleged that Harris was involved in a criminal conspiracy to conceal President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.
In her address to Trump supporters, Habba declared, “President Trump has been and is innocent of any crime other than loving this country.”
She then directed her criticism at Harris, saying, “Let me tell you, Kamala, you are committing a crime because the only co-conspirator I know of the Biden-Harris administration is you, and you have lied to us about President Biden for the last three and a half years.”
The crowd at the rally responded with enthusiastic cheers as Habba continued, emphasizing that the policies of the Biden-Harris administration have been ineffective. “The truth always comes out,” she said.
“So let me just tell you, America. Her policies are the same ones we’ve lived in for three and a half years, so don’t get it twisted. They don’t work.”
The remarks are part of an ongoing back-and-forth between Trump and Harris as the 2024 presidential election approaches. In July, Biden withdrew from the race amid growing concerns about his age and quickly endorsed Harris as his successor.
