Washington, D.C. — Tom Homan, recently named by President-elect Donald Trump as the new “border czar” for his upcoming administration, has vigorously defended plans to deport millions of migrants from the United States.

In an appearance on Fox & Friends on Monday, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made it clear that he is undeterred by potential backlash over his approach to border security.

“Frankly, I don’t care what people think about me, especially on the left,” Homan stated when asked how he would respond to critics of Trump’s immigration policies.

“don’t care what anybody’s opinions are on illegal immigration. When you create a big crisis, all these other bad things happen. ‘s why we have to secure the border”.”
Homan emphasized that he views border security as a nonpartisan issue crucial to national safety.

“I don’t care if you’re Republican, Democrat, or Independent—border security is national security. We should all be on the same side on the”, he said, asserting that Trump’s policy is designed to address what he sees as a crisis at the U.S. border.
