Trump to Hit the Campaign Trail Every Day Leading Up to Election Day
Former President Donald Trump is gearing up for an intensive campaign schedule in the month before the Nov. 5 election. According to a source familiar with his itinerary, he plans to hit the campaign trail “almost every single day. “
The Trump campaign has indicated that the former president will engage in rallies, small speaking events, interviews, and retail stops during this critical period.
A Trump campaign representative stated, “We’re going to be on the road almost every single day between now and Nov. 5.” The focus will primarily be on seven key swing states: Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina. In addition to these states, Trump is expected to participate in events in Florida, New York, and New Jersey, where he has property and will spend considerable time.
Trump’s schedule is set to include “multiple rallies a week” and smaller “messaging events” emphasising policy issues. The campaign aims to conduct voter-led town halls and retail stops, which have proven effective in fostering direct engagement with voters. According to the source, clips of Trump interacting with voters—like his visits to a New York City bodega and a Georgia Chick-fil-A—“go so viral on socials,” making it an advantageous strategy for driving voter engagement and earning media coverage.
In addition to live events, Trump will continue participating in cable and radio interviews, local media appearances and “some alternative media,” including podcasts. He will kick off his 30-day campaign blitz with a significant rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the first assassination attempt on his life.
Upcoming events include a rally in Wisconsin on Oct. 6, an Israel remembrance event in Miami on Oct. 7, and an address to the Detroit Economic Club on Oct. 10. Trump is expected to attend the Al Smith charity dinner in New York City on Oct. 17.
This pre-election push represents the final opportunity for both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris to connect with voters. Polling indicates a tight race between the two candidates. According to RealClearPolitics’ average, Trump and Harris are separated by less than 2% in the seven critical battleground states.
In response to the heightened competition, Harris is deploying former President Barack Obama to campaign for her in the swing states. His first stop is scheduled for Pittsburgh on Oct. 10.
