Trump to Appeal Conviction, Says He’s ‘Honored’ by Legal Battle: ‘We’re Fighting for Our Constitution’
Former President Donald Trump addressed the public at Trump Tower in Manhattan following the shocking guilty verdict Thursday, where an NYC jury convicted him of 34 criminal charges of falsifying business records in a scheme to influence the 2016 presidential election.
Toward the end of the press conference, Trump said, “Our kids can’t have a little league anymore because you have tents and migrants on the field.”
He added, “Migrants are taking over our hotels but our veterans, our great veterans, are living on the streets like dogs.”
Trump concluded his remarks moments later without taking any questions.
This morning, his campaign announced it has raised a staggering $34.8 million since the verdict.
The charges stem from a $130,000 “hush money” payment his former lawyer Michael Cohen made to porn star Stormy Daniels to silence her about an alleged one-night stand with Trump.

The crowd erupted into applause.
