Donald Trump has agreed to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Fox News in September, as announced on Friday night.

The debate is scheduled for September 4, September 4, and will be hosted by Fox News anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

Donald Trump announced late Friday night that he has accepted an offer from Fox News to debate Kamala Harris in September.

Initially, Harris proposed that Trump stick to the previously scheduled September 10, 10C News, initially intended to feature Trump and President Joe Biden.

Trump had agreed to the ABC News debate, but after Harris became the Democratic nominee for president following Biden’s withdrawal from the race, Trump argued that it wouldn’t be fair.

“I spent hundreds of millions of dollars, time, and effort fighting Joe, and when I won the debate, they threw a new candidate into the ring. Not fair, but it is what it is! Nevertheless, different candidate or not, their bad policies are the same, which will be powerfully revealed on September 4 and September 4mp stated on his Truth Social platform.

Harris has wanted Trump to stick to the scheduled Sept. 10 debate on ABC News which was originally slated to be a showdown between Trump and President Biden.

Trump mentioned that “the rules will be similar to the rules of my debate with Sleepy Joe” but emphasized that this debate would include “a full arena audience” at a venue yet to be announced.

Previously, Trump’s campaign had indicated that debate plans would not be finalized until Harris was formally declared the Democratic nominee.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Harris’ campaign did not confirm whether she would agree to the Fox News debate. “We’re happy to discuss further debates after both campaigns have already agreed to the one. Mr. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace should have no problem with that unless he’s too scared to show up on the 10th,” Harris’ team stated, falsely claiming that Trump had agreed to debate her on September 10. September 10 responded, criticizing Harris’ abilities. “I’ll see her on September 4 and September 4. See her at all,” he said.

Harris secured enough votes to become the Democratic nominee on Friday despite never winning a primary. Trump has been boasting about his victory over Biden following the president’s poor performance at their June debate, which spurred a movement within the Democratic party to remove the 81-year-old president from the ticket.

Trump's campaign said previously that it would not finalize debate plans until Harris was formally declared the Democratic nominee.

On Tuesday, Harris publicly challenged Trump at a campaign event, urging him to participate in the September 10 September 10es. The funny thing about that: So he won’t debate, but he and his running mate sure seemed to have a lot to say about me,” she said. “I do hope you’ll reconsider and meet me on the debate stage because, as the saying goes, ‘if you’ve got something to say, say it to my face!'” she added, receiving loud cheers from the audience.
