Trump Rally Attendee Denies Assassination Plot Claims, Says He Is ‘100% a Trump Supporter’
A 49-year-old man accused of planning an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a Coachella Valley rally has vehemently denied the allegations, claiming he is a devoted Trump supporter.
Vem Miller, who was arrested on gun charges at the rally, told Fox News Digital that he has “never shot a gun in his life” and insisted that he was not plotting to harm Trump.
Miller, a registered Republican, said he has admired Trump since 2018 and founded the America Happens Network, a platform aimed at combatting censorship.
He explained that he regularly carries firearms due to death threats but has never used them. “I’ve literally never even shot a gun in my life,” he said, asserting that his firearms were for protection, not for any criminal intent.
Local authorities claimed Miller was found with a cache of fake passports and driver’s licenses, which he also denied, explaining that the documents are linked to his Armenian heritage.
He dismissed allegations from Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco that he is affiliated with far-right, anti-government groups like the “Sovereign Citizen” movement, calling the accusations “nonsensical.”
Miller was released on $5,000 bail after his arrest.
Federal authorities, including the FBI and Secret Service, have not filed any charges related to an assassination plot, and they do not believe Miller had any plans to harm Trump.
