Former Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s sudden departure from NBC News has drawn criticism from ex-President Donald Trump, who mocked her for being let go by the network he often refers to as “fake news.”
McDaniel resigned from her RNC position earlier this month at Trump’s request. MSNBC and NBC hired her to provide political analysis leading to the anticipated 2024 presidential election rematch between Trump and President Joe Biden.
