Trump Mocks Democrats with Thanksgiving Video Featuring ‘Christmas Vacation’ Parody

Just hours after extending Thanksgiving wishes — even to what he called “Radical Left Lunatics” — former President Donald Trump turned up the heat on Democrats by sharing a satirical video inspired by the holiday classic National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

The 35-second clip, posted Thursday night on Trump’s Truth Social account, featured a digitally altered President Joe Biden in the role of Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase in the 1989 film. “If this turkey tastes half as good as it looks, I think we’re all in for a very big treat,” a CGI Biden proclaims as the scene begins.

California Rep. Adam Schiff appears next, portrayed as the eccentric Cousin Eddie, originally played by Randy Quaid. In the parody, Schiff quips, “Save the neck for me, Clark,” as Vice President Kamala Harris, depicted as Eddie’s wife Catherine, delivers her signature laugh.

The video continues with Jill Biden, styled as Ellen Griswold (originally portrayed by Beverly D’Angelo), sitting awkwardly alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi dramatically gulps wine as the group gathers to watch Biden’s character carve a turkey.

The scene takes a bizarre twist as the overcooked turkey collapses, revealing Trump emerging from its remains. Dressed in his signature style, he bursts into his iconic dance moves to the tune of the Village People’s “YMCA,” a song frequently played at his campaign rallies.

The video concludes with cameos by Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who display contrasting reactions — Omar laughing while Ocasio-Cortez appears shocked.

Earlier in the day, Trump shared a Thanksgiving message on his X account (formerly Twitter), writing, “Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed… Their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

He closed the post with an optimistic tone: “Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!”
