M10news, Rumours surrounding Donald Trump’s health continue to swirl, with the former president expected to make an announcement later today that the White House says will concern the Department of Defence.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that Trump would deliver “an exciting announcement,” though she offered no further detail on the nature of the event.

Despite those assurances, speculation has grown after Trump was filmed entering a motorcade en route to Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, wearing a gold USA baseball cap and appearing in good spirits.
Focus has also turned to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC — the hospital where Trump was previously treated for COVID-19 in 2020 and which houses a presidential suite.
Images purporting to show road closures near Walter Reed have been widely circulated on X. M10news, however, reported no evidence of such restrictions, noting only that gates that are routinely closed at night were photographed.
Even so, the pictures have fuelled speculation ahead of today’s press appearance, which will mark Trump’s first engagement with the press in nearly a week.
The White House has not yet confirmed whether the scheduled announcement will proceed as planned.

In an apparent effort to quash rumours, Trump posted on Truth Social, writing: “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.”
Speculation was further heightened by claims that Melania Trump had been seen at Walter Reed last week.
One woman posting on Threads, who said she was in the hospital’s labour and delivery ward, wrote: “Mid-monitoring in triage, guess who showed up for an unscheduled ‘tour’ of Labour and Delivery? Melania Trump. Even the staff was confused as to why she was there.”
A staff member later commented that the former First Lady’s appearance was “odd” but “not out of the ordinary,” explaining that Secret Service visits were often kept discreet.
Walter Reed has long been the primary treatment centre for sitting and former presidents, and analysts note that any urgent medical event involving Trump would almost certainly be handled there.
Separately, an unverified video clip appearing to show black garbage bags being thrown from a White House window has drawn attention online.
“It can’t be legal,” one user remarked. Another wrote: “When in history has anything been chucked out the window – let alone during a potential health cover-up of the president?”
Trump had no public engagements last Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, and spent the Labour Day weekend in Washington without appearing before the cameras.
Recent photographs of Trump walking to his car have also drawn scrutiny from online commentators, who claim he looks markedly different from earlier appearances.

The absence of his typically vocal social media presence in recent days has fuelled conspiracy theories about his wellbeing.
Speculation increased further after images surfaced of Trump with unevenly applied concealer on his hand, with some claiming it was used to cover bruising or signs of a cannula.
Similar rumours circulated about Joe Biden last year, when the President was absent from public view for several days, prompting Republican commentators to question his whereabouts.
