President Donald Trump has ordered security clearances stripped from a new list of political opponents, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and New York Attorney General Letitia James
Days after revoking President Joe Biden’s access to classified information and federal buildings, Trump announced that Blinken—who played a key role in promoting the 2020 “Dirty 51” intelligence letter dismissing Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation—will be the next to lose his security privileges.

“Bad guy. Take away his passes,” Trump said in an exclusive interview with The New York Post.
The move also targets Bragg and James, who have led high-profile legal cases against Trump. While the revocation is largely symbolic, it could limit their access to federal courthouses, FBI offices, and law enforcement facilities in New York.

Trump’s crackdown extends to other Biden allies, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and several figures involved in investigations against him, such as Robert Mueller’s lead prosecutor Andrew Weissman and impeachment lawyer Norm Eisen.

The president defended his actions as necessary to hold officials accountable for what he sees as election interference and misuse of classified information. Critics, however, view the move as largely performative and legally difficult to enforce.
Last week, Trump also revoked Biden’s access to intelligence briefings, stating bluntly, “I don’t trust him. He’s not worthy of trust.”
