Former U.S. President Donald Trump has dramatically escalated his rhetoric against Iran, calling for its “unconditional surrender” amid growing fears of a wider regional conflict.
The remarks come as the United States continues to move warships, fighter jets, and nuclear-capable bombers toward the Middle East to support Israel’s ongoing strikes on Iranian targets.

Trump: “We Know Where Khamenei Is Hiding”
In a series of posts on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday afternoon, Trump said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was an “easy target,” though he claimed he would not order his assassination — “at least for now.”
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding,” Trump wrote. “He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”
He then warned Tehran against targeting American troops or civilians, stating that U.S. patience was “wearing thin.” Minutes later, he posted another message, demanding: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
U.S. Military Mobilisation Intensifies
Reports from the Pentagon confirm that additional U.S. warships and fighter squadrons are being positioned in strategic locations near the Persian Gulf and Eastern Mediterranean. Four B-52 Stratofortress bombers capable of delivering nuclear payloads have also been stationed at Diego Garcia, a U.S. military base in the Indian Ocean, placing them within striking distance of Iran.

A senior defense official told M10News that “all options are being evaluated,” including potential airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities if the situation deteriorates further.
Cyberattacks and Air Superiority Claims
Meanwhile, Israel has expanded its military campaign against Iran into the cyber domain, launching what has been described as a “massive” wave of cyberattacks targeting Iranian internet infrastructure and communications systems.
Trump, commenting further online, declared, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran.” He claimed that Iran’s air defenses were “no match” for American-made systems, branding U.S. military hardware as “superior by design.”
He also used social media to urge the residents of Tehran — a city of 9.5 million — to evacuate immediately for their safety.
G7 Summit Disrupted
Trump’s remarks came after he made a surprise early exit from the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Canada, reportedly to convene with U.S. national security advisers at the White House Situation Room.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed that Trump had given no indication of seeking multilateral coordination with other Western leaders to reduce hostilities in the region. “I don’t think anything that the president said either here or elsewhere suggests that the U.S. will get involved in de-escalation,” Starmer told reporters.
He added that the G7 leaders had jointly issued a statement late Monday urging a ceasefire in Gaza and broader Middle East peace efforts. “Throughout dinner yesterday, I was seated next to President Trump. I can confirm the language in the G7 statement reflects a consensus — but clearly not everyone plans to act on it,” Starmer noted.
Shift in Tone on Iran
Trump’s call for unconditional surrender represents a dramatic shift from his earlier position that a nuclear deal with Iran was still “achievable.” Just days ago, he was said to have vetoed an Israeli proposal to assassinate Ayatollah Khamenei, reportedly citing fears of triggering an uncontrollable war.

Asked whether there was any fallout from Trump’s reversal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said only: “I wouldn’t rush to conclusions.”
Regional Fallout and Warnings
Iran has accused the U.S. of directly supporting Israeli aggression and warned that any further escalation will lead to “unprecedented retaliation.” In Tehran, civil defense sirens sounded for the third consecutive night, and long lines of vehicles were seen fleeing the city’s urban core.
Western intelligence sources tell M10News that Iran has placed parts of its Revolutionary Guard on high alert and has begun relocating key military assets.
