A 39-year-old man from Toronto faces multiple charges after allegedly using his cell phone to record under the dresses of two victims in a disturbing case of voyeurism.

The incidents are reported to have occurred on August 15, around 10 to 10:30 a.m., near Yonge and Queen Streets. According to Toronto police, the suspect followed the victims from Queen Station and continued to trail them up a staircase, maintaining a close distance and pointing his cell phone underneath their dresses.

The alleged voyeurism continued on an escalator, where the suspect again reportedly used his phone to record under the victims’ dresses. A bystander witnessed the behaviour and intervened, prompting the suspect to flee.

Following the incident, an investigation led to the identification of the suspect. On August 22, Tyler Sarry, 39, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with four counts of secretly observing or recording a person for sexual purposes. He was scheduled to appear in bail court on the same day.

Toronto police are concerned there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with relevant information to contact them at 416-808-5100 or to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
