Teen Kills Parents and Shifts Blame to Intruder
A 14-year-old boy from Fresno, California, allegedly murdered his parents and injured his teenage sister before making up a story that an intruder was responsible for their deaths.
The incident took place on Wednesday at the family’s home on Dunlap Road in the Miramonte community, where Sheriff’s deputies found the boy’s parents, Lue and Se Yang, dead. The boy’s 11-year-old sister was also found badly hurt and was transported to a hospital, where she underwent surgery. She is expected to survive.
Arrest and Charges
Deputies at the scene found evidence that showed the boy’s story about the break-in was fabricated. Due to inconsistencies, the teen boy appeared to be the only individual who used several weapons to attack the victims. The teenage boy was arrested and has been charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. His identity will not be released because he is a minor.
Motive
A motive behind the crime was not immediately determined.
