Sydney Thomas Celebrates One Million TikTok Followers and Shares Personal Milestones
Sydney Thomas, a 20-year-old model and University of Alabama student, recently reintroduced herself to her fans after hitting the impressive milestone of one million followers on TikTok. Thomas, who gained widespread attention as a ring girl for the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight on November 15, took to social media to express her gratitude.
“We just hit 1,000,000 followers on TikTok!! I cannot express enough how grateful I am for every single one of you,” Thomas shared on her Instagram Story on Sunday. I love you guys; thank you.”
To celebrate the milestone, Thomas posted a “get to know me” video on TikTok, emphasising that there’s more to her than what fans see online. In the video, she revealed that she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and is currently a junior at the University of Alabama, studying management and entrepreneurship. She plans to finish her degree a year early in August, taking advantage of her online classes to balance her academic commitments with her busy schedule.
“I’m technically a junior, but I’m going to finish a year early in August, which is exciting,” Thomas explained. “I do all my classes online to be able to travel and have more flexibility in my schedule.”
In addition to her academic achievements, Thomas works for the Arizona Cardinals as part of the team’s in-game hype squad. She also used the opportunity to address misconceptions about her intelligence, pointing out that she isn’t just a pretty face.
“Contrary to popular opinion or popular belief, I’m smart. People get the image — pretty blonde, doesn’t have a brain. But I got a 33 on my ACT [exam] in high school, and I’m finishing college early, so take it as you want,” she said.
When she’s not studying or working, Thomas focuses on her health and wellness, something she is deeply passionate about. “I’m very athletic,” she shared. “I love health, wellness, fitness, and anything that has to do with improving yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’m all in for self-improvement and becoming the best version of yourself.”
Looking ahead, Thomas remains uncertain about her career path after college, admitting that her life has taken unexpected turns in recent months. “The past two weeks, so much in my life has just been flipped upside down,” she said. “My path is so different and unique; I take it daily. I don’t stress too much about the future.”
Thomas’s viral rise in the influencer world continued with her involvement in Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. She joined the organisation as a ring girl earlier this year, and the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight marked her second appearance with MVP.
As Thomas celebrates her growing popularity, she continues to balance her academic, professional, and personal aspirations, embracing the unique path her life has taken.
