Sir David Beckham has been hospitalised following a mysterious injury, with wife Victoria Beckham posting a heartfelt message of support on social media.
The 50-year-old former England captain and football icon was pictured lying in a hospital bed with his arm secured in a sling. The image, shared by Victoria on her Instagram Story, showed David smiling despite the discomfort, dressed in a hospital gown with the blue sling clearly visible.
“Get well soon Daddy,” Victoria captioned the photo, expressing concern while keeping details of the injury under wraps.
In another image, David’s foot was seen poking out from beneath the bedsheets, with a close-up revealing a bracelet on his wrist adorned with hearts and the message, “Get well soon.”
Victoria has not disclosed how her husband sustained the injury, and no further information has been provided regarding his condition or expected recovery time.
The incident comes during a significant period for the football star. Earlier this month, Beckham celebrated his milestone 50th birthday and was honoured with a knighthood in the King’s Birthday Honours list, recognising his contributions to sport and philanthropy.
However, celebrations have been somewhat overshadowed by persistent reports of tension within the Beckham family, particularly concerning David’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, 30, were notably absent from David’s 50th birthday festivities, an absence that reignited speculation about a rift between father and son.
