Shanna Moakler is turning heads with her recent Instagram post showcasing her weight loss in a daring zebra-print swimsuit.
The former Miss USA contestant, 50, shared two striking images on Friday, posing confidently in the bold one-piece featuring a tasseled side wrap.

Moakler’s blonde hair fell naturally over her shoulder as she complemented her look with smoky eye makeup and soft pink lips.
Captioning the post, she wrote, “It’s no better to be safe than sorry,” tagging Fashion Nova, the brand behind the swimwear.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise. “Looking GOOD Mama!!” wrote one admirer, while others expressed similar enthusiasm: “Love this! Get it girl!” and “You look amazing girl!”

The reveal follows a year since Moakler openly discussed her weight loss journey, crediting the medication Mounjaro.
Last June, she told People magazine that she used GLP-1 injections after struggling with emotional eating linked to the deaths of her parents, John and Gail Moakler, who passed away seven months apart in 2023.
“I was in a very, very dark place. I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising. I just ate like s–t,” she said at the time.

Moakler described how grief led her to “eat the pain away,” saying, “I was so devastated, and I missed my f–king mom and dad.”
She shares adult children Landon, 21, and Alabama, 19, with ex-husband Travis Barker.
Moakler also revealed difficulties managing her eating habits after paparazzi confronted her about Barker’s then-partner, Kourtney Kardashian, who was dealing with pregnancy complications.

“It was on another level, and I didn’t know how to deal with it,” she said. “I was sad. And I just missed my parents so much.”
Although she did not specify how much weight she lost, Moakler said she feels more like herself since the transformation.
“I don’t think anyone has a clue about who I am,” she stated. “I’m more than just the ex-wife of famous men. I was Miss USA at 19. I’m smart.”

She added, “Every part I’ve ever got in any movie, or every show I hosted or auditioned for, I worked my f–king ass off to get.”
Reflecting on her journey, Moakler said, “As I stand here today, as a mature woman who’s gone through all that… I do not give a f— what anyone thinks of me anymore. I’m proud of who I am.”

Moakler was married to Barker from 2004 to 2008. Before that, she was engaged to boxer Oscar De La Hoya, with whom she shares her 26-year-old daughter Atiana.
