Selena Gomez cast a spell on the red carpet at the world premiere of “Wizards of Waverly Place” spinoff, “Wizards Beyond Wavery Place,” held at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night.
The 32-year-old actress and co-producer dazzled in a custom red Rodarte gown. The gown featured an off-the-shoulder design with sharp lines and a subtly sequined bodice, complemented by a darker shade of red sequined skirt.
Gomez completed her look with coordinating metallic pointy pumps and minimal jewellery, opting for luxe diamond rings from Messika to add a touch of bling. She styled her hair in a chic shoulder-grazing bob and kept her makeup fresh with rosy pink cheeks and long lashes.
Joining Gomez at the premiere was co-producer David Henrie, who reprises his role as Justin Russo, her older brother from the original series. The duo posed alongside new cast members, including Taylor Cora, Mimi Gianopulos, Janice LeAnn Brown, Max Matenko, and Alkaio Thiele. Notable attendees included “High School Musical” stars Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman.
Before the red carpet festivities, Gomez made a vital stop to cast her vote in the United States presidential election.
In a TikTok video, she was seen in the back of a car, emphasising the importance of voting before attending the premiere. “We can’t go to the premiere without voting,” she said as she dropped off her ballot while still in her stunning gown.
Based on the beloved original show aired from 2007 to 2012, “Wizards Beyond Wavery Place” follows an adult, Justin Russo, who has left his magic days behind but is called upon by his sister to help train a young wizard.
The first two episodes will air on Disney Channel at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, with the first nine episodes available on Disney+ on Wednesday, just in time for Halloween.
