Ryanair Introduces €19.99 Rescue Fares as Aer Lingus Ends Dublin-Gatwick Route – Secure Your Affordable Flights Now!”
Surprisingly, Aer Lingus has announced the closure of its route from Dublin Airport to London’s Gatwick Airport at the end of March. Responding to this move, Ryanair has launched a significant “rescue fares” deal, starting at €19.99.
The decision to end the Dublin-Gatwick service was made after a review of route performance by Aer Lingus. Passengers who booked flights from April 1 onwards will be contacted and given the option of a refund or an alternative flight. Those with connecting flights through Gatwick will also receive communication.
Ryanair’s Head of Comms, Jade Kirwan, expressed how Ryanair is stepping in to help the affected passengers: “Ryanair yet again saves the day following Aer Lingus’ sudden and surprise closure of its Dublin – Gatwick route from April. We will be happy to welcome the few Aer Lingus passengers on the Gatwick route at Ryanair’s rescue fares starting from just €19.99.”
Kirwan highlighted that Ryanair operates about eight daily flights on the Dublin to Gatwick route and emphasized the reliability and affordability of the airline. Passengers can book these €19.99 rescue fares for April and May on www.ryanair.com.
Ryanair chiefs emphasized London as a must-visit destination, describing it as a financial and cultural hub, a muse for the creative, and the seat of a global empire.
They mentioned iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Wembley Stadium, Big Ben, Westminster, and Abbey Road, enticing visitors from around the world. London’s rich history and cultural significance were highlighted as reasons to explore the city, concluding with an invitation to “jump on a flight to London today and let yourself be entertained.”
