Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani’s demeanour was captured in a new mugshot released on Monday, showcasing a grin with his head tilted down.
This comes following his indictment in Arizona for his alleged involvement in a plot to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Giuliani, 80, has pleaded not guilty to nine felony charges, including fraud, forgery, and conspiracy. These charges stem from an alleged scheme to keep Donald Trump in the White House.
The indictment accuses Giuliani of disseminating false claims of election fraud in Arizona after the 2020 election and exerting pressure on state legislators to alter the results, which favoured Joe Biden by a narrow margin.
