The “Diamonds” hitmaker explained that she and her loved ones prefer to remain engaged with the public rather than living in seclusion. “We like to eat with people.
We like to shop with people. We like to walk the streets with people,” she told the outlet. “I don’t like a private room. I don’t have them shut down stores. I don’t like the Rapunzel life.”
Calling fame “very isolating” and “lonely,” Rihanna questioned, “What am I protecting myself from?”
A$AP Rocky and the Importance of Staying Grounded
The “Love on the Brain” singer, who has been in a relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky since 2019, emphasized how their family life and simple joys help them stay grounded. The couple shares two sons, RZA (2) and Riot Rose (9 months).
“That’s a big thing for us and actually a really big thing for him,” she said of spending time in everyday places.

However, Rihanna insisted on standing by her partner, allegedly telling the attorney, “You know, Joe, wild horses aren’t gonna keep me away.” Tacopina added that she informed him to let Rocky know she was coming and to deal with it.
